All getting a little unsavoury now with the usual suspects involved. Reading the thread it appears nobody outside of the mod room gives a shit about the lack of thanks or recognition. You would think at least a handful of the 5000 or whatever members they claim to have would show some support.

Amusing response to Stuart_C's excellent post

Nooly just doesn't understand that most people at HP think he is a twat and don't want anything to do with him.

They call him "Internet Ian" behind his back and warn people not to take anything he says seriously. Is it any surprise that the OS don't give Pasoti any credit when he has constantly slagged them and the whole media department off for years?

Nool is Pasoti and he uses the site for his personal advancement at HP. The fact that the site gets no recognition from the club tells you all you need to know about the strength of feeling against Nool.

And maybe, just maybe, they see the crap he comes out with on Twitter and don't want to be associated with that.

The only reason that was a 'Nasty gutted comment' was because it got straight to the heart of Newell's stupidity/hypocrisy/sociopathy (delete as applicable).

Agree with that, Nools regonised as a prize prick through out the little Argyle world, isn't that enough recognition?

Good friend of my brother works there and yes that is a common feeling at Home Park. How he and your mods can constantly slag off Cowdrey ,  the media department, the official site etc. and expect the official thanks he craves beggars belief.

The journey from a fan (I knew him and his mates from the early 70s) to super fan status has been an ego boosting experience for sure - after 2 visits to the business lounge a few years back I'm afraid my off buttons were pressed, it's all about the control I'm afraid!! When you rattle buckets 24/7 just so you can hand over cheques, and get your seat nice and close to James, it has got to be a little bit annoying that a club photogropher isn't employed to publicise it and show how great you are?

Why doesn't KJN put nearly as much energy into asking JB why the club isn't funding the Milk Cup trip, as he does begging Pasoti posters to fatten his cheques and whinging at the OS for not publishing gratitude about how great Ian Newell is?

Btw, what is this facebook group of John Lloyd's that KJN is reputedly ruining?

I think what irks Newell is that he's enable to control it and overrun it with his North Korean style of leadership. Everyone is debating just fine on John Lloyds' FB group without any outside interference. How refreshing - apart from this site that is.

Far from ruining it Fatboy has unwittingly promoted it by drawing attention to its simplicity.
Pasoti is Hemorrhaging members at the number of 5 a day all joining ATD and a Facebook Group that has no Moderation. Of the 30 or so Posters left on Pasoti 6-7 are Multis as well.
KJN will soon me lording it over a Forum consisting of Wannabe Politicians, Posties with a Penchant for other Peoples Wives and a Pieman

According to Twatter sources there were "2500" on the Farm last night, no doubt all clamouring for some of the charidee glory.

Nool probably went Blubbing to Hodges, who thought he better tell the os to give the cheerleaders Cheerleading site a mention, Hodgey got a sticker in return.

Being listed with several others and still taking backstage to the GT's in a generic thank you from Hodges, is hardly the appreciation and acknowledgement of Pasoti and Nooll that the man himself was looking for from PAFC itself!

Even after Newell literally begged for praise that is as much as he got - well he didn't get any, but Buckoti got a crumb thrown their way.  How has that got to feel?  How they must despise him at Home Park, it's always the GT's that get the public kudos, even in this announcement.

Talking of which...  An awful thought has just occurred.  Since the GT's 'charitable donations' have to eventually be paid back to them by the club, does the same apply with Pasoti?

A few things that make me uneasy about this.
1. How do we know all the money raised goes to the causes and nothings creamed off.
2. Why should we dip our hands in our pockets when Brent would dig deeper to pay for most of the things.
3. How village/amateur this makes us look the old bucket rattling.
And finally why one person is big headed enough to try to claim credit for just handing out a few empty buckets essentially for other people to rattle.
