| Seems a bit rich after missing out on a play-off final by the odd goal in 13.
Anyway: job vacancy for a football manager in Sheffield.
Should get people's hopes up again that Sheridan is off but the chances of an ex-Owl getting appointed manager of the Blades is low to zero, I'd say.
Especially since Sheridan has just failed at essentially the same hurdle a division lower.
(Cue dozens of posts saying: they appointed so-and-so and he was a Wednesdayite etc) |

| Look back at Warnock's time there and one word emerges: Tevez.
Are the Blades the most blatantly cheated against team ever?
They have never recovered from it all, have they? |

Lives too far away though! Is this really Argyle related? |

| Given that Sheridan is neither qualified enough and scored a cup winning goal for Wednesday he's so unlikely to get the job that I've moved to Zoo. Hope okay, just tidying. |

| There is zero possibility of Sheridan being considered for that job for the reasons outlined in previous posts. Very harsh on Clough-they were in the bottom three when he took over and have made significant progress since in the league whilst reaching FA cup and League cup semi finals, a record which is certainly no roll of dishonour. Demanding lot up there though, maybe they've got ideas slightly above their true station which can lead to pressures and subsequent decisions such as this one. |

| Was he even a possiblity? i highly doubt he was at all.
Besides Mark Warburton is the next boss as talk is very high on him taking the role within the next few days. |

They have never recovered from it all, have they? They certainly haven't stopped going on about it. Tevez/Mascherano-gate was a disgrace, but I can't help wondering if a more accomplished manager than Warnock might have kept them up. |

| I'm sure they'd argue he did keep them up given that they were only relegated due to West Ham fielding ineligible players many times.
I'm on their side on this one. |

I always find united fans reasonable. Wednesday fans think they are second only to Manchester United in size despite only ever winning the one trophy which Sheridan scored the winning goal |

They have never recovered from it all, have they? Didn't they sue West Ham and win? Received a feck off big payment for it 'n all. Still probably nothing given the value of Premier League status today. |
