A British assessment team give the Nepal government a detail risk and advice for prepareing for an earthquake last year, as Nepal is one of the highest risk area for earthquakes The Nepal government turn down the advice saying it had better thing to spend the money on.

If an earthquake is going to happen it will happen, there is no real planning for it as they dont give you warnings on how big or small they are going to be.

Cant beat mother nature

The international response has been amazingly swift and plentiful - yet the response to thousands dying off the coast of Southern Italy and the northern coast of Africa is painfully inadequate. Quite a polarized response by the international community!

The charity I work for raised £3.4 million by noon on Friday - some amazing gestures by the public. 1 person walked into reception with a cheque for 10K - wow!
