Out of argyle retirement for the play offs. get in dane we need more loyal p/t fans like you lol No problem at all. As you may know I have spent an obscene amount of money travelling up and down the country watching my first love, Man United, this season and will do the same next. However my home town club is calling and will need all the added support they can get over the next few weeks. Green army ! |

| God, don't they moan. It is not as if hundreds went running on.
A tad naughty of the Tranmere fans to damage the Barn Park End toilets toilets.
If Argyle get fined for people encroaching the pitch, then they can charge Tranmere for the damage to the toilets. |

| And so it came to pass that all you bitches who have displayed no love at all for your club, its beneficient owner, tactically astute manager and hugely admirable super fans have now to suck it up and get down the theatre of groans for a play off semi.
Still perm any one from three for you opponents and any of them will be harder opposition that Tranny, but in with a shout of a big day out at the New Wemberlee.
Jealous?
You betcha. |

If Sheridan is smart he will rest key players next week and keep them fresh for the playoffs where they will need to be. Mabe not this extreme but i would play next week. Bitner Purrington Bentley Hartley Jones Blizzard Norburn Cox Banton Harvey Brunt ill even go so far as to say let Wotton have a 5minute cameo so he can set the 2nd highest apperane record for the club outright. As i say maybe not that extreme but certainly several. |

| The only player I would rest would possibly be Reid. The last thing that Argyle need is to go up there and find themselves 3-0 down at half time, recipe for potential disaster. Why would so many players need to be rested anyway if they aren't carrying injuries of some sort? I'm sure they can cope with one more match and there is a complete week before the play offs get under way-can't see Sheridan making that many changes for next week presuming everyone is fit.
THD won goal of the day on SSN tonight, good on him. The Luton keeper made a shocking rickets for the Southend goal, bet he's popular up there tonight. |

| We were fortunate today - we could have had no complaints if Tranmere had won. They totally outplayed us in the first half, the two goals were more or less the only times we got out of our half. The spell of possession leading up to their first goal was particularly one-sided. I hate the way we sit back and let teams attack us.
Still, a great goal from THD, and Ansah looked sharp exploiting the gaps at the back. I feel for Tranmere, I hope non-league doesn't swallow them. |

I think it would be a good idea to rest certainly RR and would include Alessandra and McHugh. _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! | Resting players???? WTF? Peter Shiltons ''almost men'' went into game 46 at 3 points behind Port Vale and a GD 6 goals worse. I bet Vale fans thought ''Argyle - no way can they catch us on GD so even losing 1 - nil would be OK'' Argyle won 8-1 and had Vale lost we would have overtaken them. They won 2-0 but .......
Rest players? Not a chance. |

Rest players? Not a chance. I would rather have a fresher Reuben Reid for having a week off as dont forget he is playing with an injury he picked up against Exeter than have him keep coming off early in the playoff games when we really need him on the pitch all 90 mins and possibly extra times. Same for one or two others too. |

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] To be honest Tring, i think you really needed to be here during the Fletcher days to truly understand why there's a bit of orgasming going on at the moment. Believe me, it was gruesome and to actually have a chance of achieving something at this stage of the season does seem like reaching a sort of Nirvana in comparison to that, even though this season has been a bit tortuous at times. Bigger picture? Definitely major issues there. Has any effort been made to ensure that Argyle are sufficiently well capitalised to be competitive should they make it [or even if they don't actually] to league 1 and beyond a la Swansea, Hull, Reading, Bournemouth etc? What are the plans to improve the infrastructure, including grandstand and training facilities from it's present 1950's/1960's/1970's status to something more befitting a club which has ambitions to go further than it's ever been previously? Relevant questions which need to be asked in due course. But sorry, after watching 6 years of utterly awful losing shit, then I can't help but feel a bit happier this morning that the season has been extended and that there's a prospect of a modicum of excitement to come over the next few weeks. |
