Where does the English Channel start and end?

So where does the Atlantic start? Or the North Sea?

The English Channel starts at Lands End and ends at Rame Head where it then becomes the Atlantic Ocean for about 3 miles until you reach Heybrook Bay and then it becomes the English Channel again until it meets the North Sea somewhere near Margate, the location of the legendary Fatty Towers, a hotel once owned by Buster Bloodvessel which catered for fat bastards by providing larger beds, wider doors etc. Plymouth - Britain's Ocean City.
