Vacation. Empty
PostSubject: Vacation.    Vacation. EmptyThu Jan 05, 2012 8:41 pm

Well it's that time of year. Post Xmas blues, an empty wallet, but cunningly a credit card that's used to taking a battering, so what the hell.

I'm looking for inspiration in booking something. I've done pretty much everywhere I've fancied in the Med/Canaries, apart from some of the Greek Isles. I quite fancy either Zante or Rhodes, or maybe Crete. Any recommendations on resorts from anyone who's been? 2 adults & 2 kids, so I guess Malia is off limits... Sad

Actually this probably should be on the Halftime board, feel free to transfer it Mods Embarassed

White water rafting down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon and then hire a Harley and tour for a couple of weeks. Now that's awesome!

Cheers Woz, I'll check it out.

Gob/DTT, ive got family in Az, so yeah I've already done the Grand Canyon/Vegas etc Very Happy

Love the States, done the East and West Coast and a few bits in between. Bizarrely (with two kids) Florida is one State I've not done, but I can't bung a holiday like that on the Credit card - there are limits!

My mate drove me around the route of the Bullit car chase in his Ford Mustang Bullit, and then across the Golden Gate bridge. It also made me want to get a licence. Almost.

Nah, probably on one of those missing programs. Snowgeese are the old people who buy motorhomes and follow the sunshine from one end of the states to the other, permanant summer instaed of 4 weeks. sunny

Or just stay in Southern California, or Arizona. Summers are pretty much a twelve month season there anyway, and you save on gasoline. Very Happy
