1-short on the bench again! No Banton, Blizzard, Harvey. River Allen and Aaron Bentley also not on the bench. Are they all injured or is Sheridan trying to make a point? |

| I think he's making a point to Brent, whats the point of fielding players he doesn't think are up to it? Or, everybody else is injured, the former I think. |

| Banton, Blizzard, Harvey are all injured. Allen and Bentley ?? They weren't t/f to Barca on deadline day were they? However I'll take a 1-0 with a deflected own goal today. Same old to start then BANG 1-0 sent from 1-phone6s |

| Come on bheys FFS! Good result if we keep it, City drawing. Can smell the playoffs but also Burtons superiority, is anyone in top seven going to go on an epic fail and let us back in? We can hope. |

| Held on against Accy at home to keep the 3 points. Not exactly impressive, but at least it's a win. |

| Probably more to do with nothing to play for except securing another miserable season in Div 4 |

| Well, that was not what i was expecting, a 1-0 win. 21 shots (2 on target) in the 90 minutes, but only 37% of possession in the total game. 6,005 braved the chilly air to witness it all. Argyle were terrible in the first half, but managed to score through LA. In scond half Argyle were the better side and had a few chances to increase the lead. Talbot looks a good player indeed, impressed by his commitment. I will take the three points and move on from here. Next game for me is Exeter City away, who knows, Argyle might be back in a PO position . |

| Even in the first half,Argyle had enough chances to bury this game against a not very impressive side, who seemed to play differently from most teams in that they left a lot of space in between the different departments of their set up.B.Reid flashed a shot just wide,Hartley missed a very decent headed chance, Lee shot over when well placed.Seen this type of game many times over and the turning point came when Stanley had a deflected shot inches past the post-if that had gone in, the afternoon could have turned nasty, people were just starting to moan and puke about Sheridan and the team. As it was, Alessandra scored a very good solo effort with an angled shot into the far corner and that settled the tension a bit, ideal time just before the interval. Second half, with Alessandra buzzing, was essentially one way traffic and the weakness of this Argyle team was demonstrated amply-enough chances were created to win three matches but the lack of ruthlessness and finishing power came to the fore once more and it could have been York all over again but Stanley weren't good enough to take advantage and in truth didn't threaten much. Argyle definitely look stronger with Hartley in the team and the old centre back threesome which served Argyle so well was back to good effect today. Thought Talbot did well apart from an attempted volley which turned into an air shot, one of the great comic/horror HP moments and Lee was good today, apart from his bleddy shooting.
A win is a win I suppose but there is a nagging feeling that Argyle's lack of firepower could have been punished by a better side today and the old old problem of goals from other areas of the team surfaced once more-unless a miraculous turn around in that department materialises, then Argyle are going to have to keep a lot of clean sheets if the play offs are to remain a possibility. |

| Pleased with the win and 3 points, not so pleased with the performance, created plenty but powderpuff in front of goal again, nice to keep a clean sheet albeit against a poor team but we'll need to be much more clinical if we're going to get anything from Tuesday's game, thought the new lad looked promising. |
