Twitter installed on new iPhone 6. I can't for the badger-fisting life of me, get Twitter to push new tweets. It only refreshes with new tweets from people I follow when I open the app.

Now, after using a Blackberry for 320 years, when ever a tweet was, well, tweeted by someone I followed, I got an instant alert saying I have new tweets, whether I had the app open, or the phone was in  my pocket. It worked flawlessly. As I said above, I have push notifications enabled on my iPhone but it doesn't tell me if I have new tweets, i'e push notifications unless I open the app and refresh it.

Can someone who is well versed in the art of Twitter, come forthwith with some advice.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, thank you.

Hurry up, FFS.
