Sorry to spoil tonight fun, back to football

Argyle may have a new striker for this game.

Quote

JOHN SHERIDAN is trying to sign a striker on loan before Plymouth Argyle’s away game against York City on Saturday.

The Pilgrims’ boss wants to strengthen that area of his squad as a priority after the cruciate knee ligament injury to Deane Smalley at the start of December. Quote

Seriously hope a new striker can come in.
Reid seems to get more lethargic and toothless in each game.

*cue the abuse for daring to criticise the infallible Reid*

Also news on Bobby

BRISTOL City boss Steve Cotterill seems prepared to let midfielder Bobby Reid extend his loan spell at Plymouth Argyle

Cotterill has admitted it is better for the 21-year-old to be playing first team football for the Pilgrims than sitting on the substitutes’ bench for the League One leaders.

I can remember a spell back in the 70's when I went to watch Argo at Watford on a couple of occasions..................and just knew we'd win.

We did have Mariner n Rafferty, an all round good side and a fine manager though. That does tend to be what's required.

I'd normally make the trip up to York. However our last two performances at York have been so dire (even by our standards) I think I'm going to give it a miss. Hopefully my decision will work as a reverse-jinx and we'll put in a good performance.

I remember us losing dismally a couple of years ago just after we won the derby. Even Richard Creswell scored.

Fook, genuinely thought the match was today. Just looked for the half time score and dang me, there wasn't one. Ah well.

The last time we won at York I believe was Triggers first game back after he was re- signed from Bristol Rovers which must be at least 14 or 15 years ago.

Correct me if I'm wrong

We've only played there twice since coming back into the same league as them. One draw and one loss.

Draw again here imo against the draw specialists of the league.

Surely he's been removed from his post and suspended for 7 days for attempting to smear an 'awkward' poster with false accusations of racism ?

Although this should be on the predictions thread. I think we'll park the bus today and grind out a 2-2.

Oh, and Asti, don't be silly. All that nonsense has well and truly been swept under that big old Pigsoti carpet. As Wankybag Ollie says, forget it, move on, nothing to see here. Rolling Eyes

I watched MIB 3 the other night. I'm sure Porky and De-Liar have somehow got hold one of those neuralizer things.
