So, Right. In watching interview after interview in recent times on various media, since when did everyone start their reply, retort, explanation with 'So'?

I can't say I have notice it until very recently, if hardly ever on UK TV. Another Americanism?

A bag of rhubarb and custard sweets to the first smart-ass that reply's with, So! :lol

It is irritating.

Something else I've noticed - all politicians begin every answer with "Let me be very clear", or variation on that theme, before refusing to answer the question.

Yes, yes he does. But back to the errrmmmmmmmmmmm, isn't that as irritating? I tried listening to some socialite being interviewed on Sky news last week. Not only did she start each reply with 'so', every other fecking word in the sentence was errrmmmmmmmmmmmm or ummmmmmmmmmmmmm. FFS, spit it out you manky c*ck juggling thunder c*nt.

Yep, that's another one, CC. Cameron is particularly fond of 'Let me be very clear'. Irritating buffoon.

Someone in our social circle is known as "mildly irritating Mark" not because of any henious social gaffes, he's just mildly irritating.

So has been around since I got made redundant in 2009 and in fact nob ends were "soing" a few years before that "So it's been a great year for the company, but next year we can do better".

My niece starts every sentence with "Like" the middle with "Yeah" and ends with "Right"

For example "Like, my friend Destiny yeah, she's got this dragon tattoo on her bum right"
She's from Chingford (which is in London, not Essex I'd like to point out) too, bless her, right.

Politicians often start an answer with ''Clearly ........''
Listen you dumb arse politicians - if it was that clear then we wouldn't be asking the question !
