From last check James Brent was discusted at the accusations being made by 'some' posters on this site. That is not in anyway a stereotype of all posters. Was this from the transcripts? I always took it with a pinch of salt that anyone would actually do that. To be honest if it did happen that's rather sad and lonely and mischief making of a rather low order. That Brent took any notice and offered any opinion is also rather sad. Surely there are other things to occupy him. He should have dismissed it out of hand. Did he ask for any background? Did he question the person who took him the info? Did he question there motives? Was he given evidence of accusation on other Argyle websites? Or even other football websites? All a bit mad to be honest. |

| I think Chris, the day you took the silver over the fans and the Trust was the day that you lost all respect, not only from a rapidly growing minority, but also from yourself. What I read here from you now is a predictable but toothless and desperate defense that will win you few friends.
To be frank, it's quite sad. |

I don't think he would of taken a blind bit of notice,of a football forum. |

I agree, if it's only a guess. It's exposed underlying anger and bitterness (and surprise, surprise it's still there but people can usually manage to put such things away and get on with life - as they had done) but the arse-hole who is sitting back and enjoying what they've reactivated needs exposing also. It's a pity people "on both sides" have bitten. And, Phenom, I take your 70's rock post and raise you .... [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| Chris,
Does the honour of being club President mean anything to you?
If it does, then please start acting like one.

It'll be a good thing for him to know that things will be questioned and that not all of us have a desire to kiss his ass, we just want a decent club and so far he's just about managing to do slightly better then the Administrator when it comes to performances on the pitch. |

Tell you what, Chris. Stop working from the dossier Newell gave you when you became 'pals' and try dealing with people as just that, people.
Just a bit of advice from one older and probably wiser, like. Truth difficult for you to deal with Peggy? What the hell is that supposed to mean? As above Peggy.
I also believe, you yourself have had more than your fair share of issues with penzance pirate in the past. Funny how when convienient that all goes silent isn't it.
Maybe the older, wiser approach needs to refresh the memory a little. Rubbish again. And proof - if it were needed - that you get all your information about longstanding Argyle fans from one person.
And by the way, I have the memory of an elephant. Unlike your 'pal'. Absolutely nothing to do with Ian Newell....but thanks it merely backs up my last post about your obsession with everything IJN. And this thread shows your complete denial to accept Newell's 'rough' with his 'smooth'! You will just not criticise him in any way. I will correct that. You will not criticise him in PUBLIC in any way. Why don't you tell the good people of ATD and pasoti what you said to me about Newell in our "private" skype conversation?

| Weird thread.
Grammatically, the OP reminds me of a couple of users of this site, dtt, greengenes or dane. Of course that could be intentional.
I don't think it really matters anyway.
Chris Webb has come to fight the good fight, while people here naturally fight the bad fight.
Nothing much worth reading, I'm afraid. |
