Rubbish, aren't they? The FL computer has done us no favours at all and we can expect little or no Xmas fillip in terms of numbers in attendance.
The only one vaguely sensible for the time of year is the Newport one - and that is an away game.
On top of that for one reason or another it looks like I won't be able to get to any of them as things stand.
On the bright side I suppose they are all, without even being wildly optimistic, winnable.
12 points from this little lot and we'll probably be top or nearly top of the league going into 2015... |

| I love a boxing day game at Home Park so a bit narked about that. I'll be back home so it'll be a nice coastal walk instead.
I'll be at York taking in the game during a family visit.
I agree about them holding little or no fear so a good points total would set us up nicely for the new year. It could also help with any recruitment during the January transfer window. |

| There ought to be the convention that a home game on the last Saturday before Xmas guarantees a Boxing Day home fixture because the first is always likely to be a small crowd and the second is always likely to be amongst the biggest of the season. Getting the fixtures we have is a double whammy of unfortunateness.
And I thought pre-Xmas Saturday fixtures had been discontinued... But obviously not.
The 50 Accrington fans who usually come down must be well-miffed too. |

| If you live in Accrington a visit to Plymouth must seem like a Mediterranean holiday. |

| I'm going to the Oxford one.
I'd offer to meet up, but....
....I already have shedloads of mates, of course! |

| There will be even fewer Accrington fans on the 20th. Seeing that we're playing Dagenham and Redbridge! |

| Well we've beaten Accrington Dagenham & Redbridge!
On top of an away win last week too, which might loosely be interpreted as a Xmas fixture, so so far we are 2 for 2 with 3 to go.
Looking good. |

| Obviously we won't get anything at Newport or York. Our only hope of pointage is Oxford. |

| I'm sure Barnsley brought 4 fans down once, when the BP end was just an open terrace. If I remember rightly the club took pity on them and gave them seats in the Mayflower. |

One of the funniest things I've seen in football was when Argyle were 5-0 up against Hull one rainy afternoon at Home Park with about 5 minutes to go and Hull got an unexpected consolation goal. There were about a dozen Hull fans in the Barn Park end, absolutely soaked through, and when they scored one of them started pogoing and waving his arms about like a dervish up and down from the top of the terrace to the bottom, then from one side to the other, he must have carried on for about a minute. It was probably one of those things that you needed to see to appreciate fully but it was well amusing, everyone in the Demport was pissing themselves with laughter. Had to admire the blokes spirit though. |

| New Years Day many moons ago, one of the best games I've ever seen at Home Park. Finished 4-4 I think after being 2-4 down. The Lyndhurst had the last quarter of the terrace sectioned off and because it was absolutely pissing down they let the drenched Cardiff fans in next to us. Fun and games that day. |

Remember that one, i was still minging from the night before and thought I was seeing things on the pitch. It was in the 85/86 promotion season, i do believe Crudgie got injured and Nisbet went in goal. Well remember the return fixture as well, the "pissing down with rain" one which was discussed on here awhile back. |
