January is going to be a huge month. We still need to strengthen the depth in the squad and keep hold of Reid. If we can do both then I would be shocked if we dont make the play offs at least. |

| Shez actually smiled during his interview on Sky - WTF! They actually mentioned his dour stance on Sky and said ''Sheriden says that smiles are for May'' - brilliant. |

| There's no way brent wont sell Reid. We need to accept we'll be going into the business end of the season a poorer team. |

And with no funds to replace him not to mention the low price he will sell Reid for ie Hourihane.. How many goals/mom has he won so far and some say £200,000 (most of it went to the CVA and Ipswich) was a great deal. |

Can't you 2 miserable doomgloom sayers at least save your negative vibes until tomorrow FFS. Can't you at least say well done to Shez when the world saw a good display when, frankly, the team hardly broke into a sweat. Smiling is free y'know. |

January could (if Reid is sold - and not replaced) be a turning point for a lot of avivas! January will be Jimmy's defining moment! |

| Over 10,000 there today for a fourth tier televised game. Better rethink the mini stand! |

Trouble is it's not just Reid. Nelson would be a huge loss, as would Mellor and Cox. 'Bigger' clubs like Gillingham, Orient, Walsall etc could come sniffing around offering a few quid and you just know Brent would go for it. No doubt it would be considered good business by the sheep. Or he may back his manager and say no one is for sale. Nearer the time it would be good PR by the club to come out with a statement to that effect. Although I can't see that happening. |

And the chances of that are ? I'd like to think very good. Over 10k there yesterday despite it being live on the telly and there being a horribly inconvenient kick-off time. I wonder how many might have attended had the same fixture been played at 3 pm on a Good Friday? (Assuming that we could have got them in, of course.) The question here is why would you make a disastrous decision, and destroy the long term future of the club by doing so, just to be stubborn and to prove that the disastrous proposition proposed at the outset (which everybody who cared to look could see was a self-serving, greedy and inadequate pile of crap) was the very best plan possible, then discard most of that same plan only to saddle the club with the very worst and most directly calamitous part of it? And then expect the council to pay out good public money for it? That's not a thought process that marks somebody out as an astute, successful, intelligent businessman; that's the thought process of a complete idiot. |

| Well Brent ain't paying for owt, so that leaves the council ? It is their ground. If only they had half as much imagination and ambition as their counterparts in Swansea. |

| He gives back the £900,000 he put in his pension fund from the Pavillions deal, I pay him the loans he made to Argyle, squander the rest on beer, PCC build the stand and all is well...... |
