| Was just listening to Radio Devon and I thought Burton were sure to score a second, then I see on SSN we've equalised (and Exeter have just equalised with Luton). |

| McCormick deserves a huge pat on the back as it sounds as if he kept us in it today. |

| Good result as at the beginning of the second we sounded like we were going to get battered. Well done McCormick! |

| Not a bad point. Win your home games, draw your away games.
Onto the FA Cup Round 1! |

| Very solid point. Good to hear Burton's stand in manager have a lot of positive things to say about Argyle's quality too. When we won Division Two in the 2003/04 season, the moment I knew we were really in the running was when the Bristol City manager said after the game that we were the best side they had played, and he thought we would go up - despite us not being top at the time.
The respect the Burton boss had for us seemed to have parallels - he seemed as grateful and proud of their point, against what he seemed to respect as a top side, as we had with ours. |

People keep saying this is a shit league and emphasising it. Was it really better when we had John Sheffield in goal, Terry Fleming in centre midfield, Sean McCarthy up front, and Kevin Hodges for a manager? |

| Terrific advert for League Two football that. Their number 10 (I couldn't quite read his name on the shirt) was really great! A real conflict of bias football fan and general football fan as he was a joy to watch on the ball, but at the same time it was terrifying. But on the whole we dealt with them well.
They really got at us right from kick off and it took a while for us to get our footing in the game. We managed to get on top for a period of the game and played some neat stuff, but once we turned to route one they managed to get the better of us. Blizzard was a total ghost and his casual style really opened us up to concede the goal.
Immediately from the second half kick off Kellett was getting high up the pitch and causing issues, but that was soon put to bed and Burton dominated us until Shez acted with his double substitution and change of shape. 4-4-2 is definitely a possibility with Cox and Reid partnering each other. When we get the ball down and play ground football, getting the midfield involved and building it up intelligently then we look very threatening, but far too often yesterday the distribution from the back was poor and aimlessly lump it.
Overall, good point, average performance, but a great match. |
