Looks like Burton may have a stop-gap gaffer holding the reins for this one. Any upheaval most welcome. Thanks/OK

Which means Burton will play their hearts out for whoever is standing in as manager!

Rowett would likely bring with him assistant manager Kevin Summerfield, who had a seven-month spell at Blues in 1982, plus another two ex-St Andrew’s players, first team coach Mark Sale and goalkeeper coach Kevin Poole.

You never know whether this will work for or against you.

Blues are a huge sleeping giant, what some on here would like to think you Gargs are, Burton are and will always be non league, it was a total no brainer for Rowett, how much difference does he need to make to a team getting battered 0-8 at home?

No point checking results, I already know your lot won. Predictable.

Tisdale is a fooking genius. Without him, Exeter would have spent the last ten years playing derbies against Bridport and Tiverton.

I see Kevin Poole has left Burton as well. If I remember rightly, he was the 'keeper who won POTY for Leicester one year, and on being presented with the glass trophy immediately dropped it. Glorious.

Its a huge gamble for Rowett to go to Birmingham at this moment in time given what a clusterfuck it is backstage.

Hope it works out for them and he is given a fair amount of time.

"Burton will always be non-league".

Cutting edge analysis from Lord Tisdale here.

With Burton's newly furbished stadium, quality footballing side, sound finances, and recent history of several top 6 finishes, Burton Albion are every inch the club Exeter City wishes it could be.
