He's talking out of this arse on this one though.
You're allowed your own opinions but not your own facts- he has no idea of the extent of Purrington's injuries and insinuating that he's some kind of wuss for not playing on is pretty bad form in my mind.

I've broken my arm and it hardly hurt at all, another time I sprained it badly and it was agony for about a week, it varies obviously, also aren't we better safe than sorry?

ben has several breaks in the wrist i'd say its next to impossible to play with it. the cast alone will not be permitted under fa rules and unlike a sprain, pull or small tear you cant strap, tape it up or injections.
danis maybe a beacon of light in brents herald but on this occasion he is wrong.

Given that Purrington's job is to dive in and tackle, simultaneously placing his falling weight on his arse and hands, I wouldn't advise playing him with a broken wrist.
McHugh is available, and that's why we signed the bloke.

Job done for the Herald. Made a story out of nothing. Flushed a angered John Harbin out of the shadows and extended the non story for another day. Introduced jeopardy to a normal occurrence.
In addition it's interesting to note the reaction by some of the SUPERfans and REAL mates to Danis Salman's column and it's contrast to the same sort of column by The The himself.
