Yahoo Mail. Empty
PostSubject: Yahoo Mail.   Yahoo Mail. EmptyWed Oct 01, 2014 8:50 am

It seems Yahoo mail will in future be BT Mail.......the layout is changing......from being a simple layout and easy to move mail around or delete....it has become complicated to use (for me)......I have to sign in everytime I open it up.

But it is also so slow......you click on a mail and it can take up to 30 seconds to open up.....apologising and telling you that the 'systems busy'.....also quite often tells you that 'an error occurred while you read the mail' or even trying to delete that post,

The whole system will have completely change come next spring they say........at the moment it is a disaster to use......so slow and the system busy.

Has anyone else using Yahoo/BT mail had similar problems ?

The quicker you move onto Google mail the faster you'll realise how bad other emails services are. With Google you get 15Gb of storage which you can use across Drive, Picasa, Email, Sites G+ etc

Just set up a Gmail account and then put a email forwarder from your Yahoo email account to your new Gmail address and start using it. You can import all your Yahoo contacts into it very easily too. After a while everyone will know your new address and won't use Yahoo.

I guess that would work with Hotmail as well? I have a hotmail account and it wont load on windows 7 which you have to do by msn sign in.

BT mail is having so many problems......yahoo mail users like me.....who are being transferred over to the BT mail system are finding logging in problems ......not recognising your number or password.

Very slow processing of transactions.....telling you that they are very busy....even deleting an old e-mail can take forever......getting spots before my eyes watching whirring circles as it tries to perform a task.

You would think BT would be on top of such problems......they must be losing hundreds of frustrated customer who where very happy with the old yahoo mail system.

Yup, you can put a forward from hotmail. Settings (the gear cog), options then Email forwarding.

Well since Hairy disappeared there seems to be a distinct lack of geeks. Not that I'm a geek, I just have a Gmail account which I've got to know through work. The other thing here is Hairy would have told you that people who are still using Yahoo are a bunch of cretins and deserve everything they get.

Colin, still fat, still lazy, still racist, still obnoxious, still putting pizza out for the birds (rats), still hasn't cut his hedge or grass (you really should see his hedge) still not contacted the council about picking up a bed and mattress in our alley, still alive. Still, very still.
