| 4 wickets in 27 balls.
Credit where it is due: Stokes* was at the heart of all of that; he bowled beautifully, built pressure and then got 3 wickets - and a good catch!
*With a bit of help from Joe Root. |

| Now tea. Great last 30 mins from England when it looked like Rogers and Warner would get a good score. |

| Ricky Ponting always looks like he needs a damned good bath. Does he have a sweat issue or is he allergic to soap and water or something?
Oh yeah and... The Sky commentators are a boring bunch, aren't they. The TMS crew are not only funnier and more jolly but they also make the game sound more exciting. |

| Well done to England and Cook-thought he should have been sacked ages ago but he's proved me wrong and good luck to him. The change at the top seems to have done the trick, England are a much more positive team in all forms of the game now, there are still areas of concern but that's for another day, congratulations to all concerned. |

| I read some of the Australian newspapers online and they did not pull any punches in the criticism they dished out. One newspaper (Herald Sun) had an interview with Extras, who we know was the top Aussie scorer in that dismal first innings they had. The Sydney Morning Herald was a good read. I'd echo that. The big test for Alistair Cook now is how England push on from this and be in a strong position to retain the Ashes Down Under so we dont see a repeat of the last time. |
