| Utd (second team) currently losing 3-0 to MK Dons in the League Cup- from what I've seen MK Dons could have scored more. United team-
Man Utd: De Gea, Vermijl, Evans, Michael Keane, James, Janko, Anderson, Kagawa, Powell, Welbeck, Hernandez. Subs: Januzaj, Zaha, Amos, Wilson, Pereira, McNair, Thorpe. |

Apparently Angel Di Maria has already handed in a transfer request. |

| He doesn't appear to be banned and hasn't checked in since the end of July. |

| Possibly LVG's reminder to Ed Woodward that he better not think the spending is over! |

| I really think we could have given them a game. If our first team could get within one dodgy penalty of beating a League 1 team....
Ah well. |

| We'd have been in total awe of them and would've showed them far too much respect to have had any hope of a win, It's a Janner thing. The ground would've been a sea of red with plaaaaastics from all over Dem and Kernow flocking to worship at the feet of their idols. |

| It's made me wonder whether Fergy actually left the club knowing they wouldn't compete with the squad they had, however much these really successful people kiss the badge they only have their own interests at heart, I bet he's lying on a pile of gold coins pissing himself laughing. |

| I wonder if the MK Dons regular 7k gave the new fans who turned up a load of stick for being 'plastics'/part timers - Not a chance

| 3-5-2 will be ditched possibly for 2-3-3-2 formation or even 2-3-2-3 paddy power offering 3/1 welbeck to outscore falcao this season |

| Apparently Falcao has had to deny that he's done a Taribo and told porky-pies about his age. He isn't exactly the most fresh-faced 28-year-old I've ever seen....
Poor old Manchester United. Let's hope they do a Leeds, implode under their debt and spend the next decade in the forgotten hinterland that is the Skybet Championship. We can but hope. |

| Grey-haired footballers are great. They almost deserve a thread on their own. Andy Warrington (former Rotherham keeper), that full-back at Cardiff (McNaughton?), the aforementioned McNulty of Luton, and of course Robin van Persie himself. |
