| A slow start, lots of angst before achieving mid table mediocrity. A small squad with too many newcomers will take time to settle. |

| We will be a tough team to score against but poor going forward. I reckon we will be league 2 draw specialists. Lots of low scoring games. |

| I participated in this vote just so no-one can ever accuse me of taking my democratic entitlements for granted, but in answer to the question I don't know.
Could be good, could be shit.
If Reid struggles or gets injured, we're struggling for goals. No FK specialists in the team, probably another season of poor corners and delivery. Can't see a play maker in the side or much creativity. Never really replaced Hourihane with a player of his ilk.
I'll guess 6th - 8th, but that could change depending on the next two faces who come in. |

| 8th-12th. I was very optimistic until the loss of Hourihane- now the squad just looks incredibly imbalanced. Bloated in some areas, threadbare in others. It'll be about the same again as last season imo, which ultimately will be disappointing if I'm right.
Last season I was happy with consolidation- this season, anything less than top 7 would be a failure. |

| I'm not sure the final league position is as important as the home form. The home form was as bad last season as the Season before. A big improvement needs to be seen, fans want to see a winning team. Another bad season at home could be the final straw for many. |

| Our home form between August and December actually wasn't bad at all. We only lost at home three times in the first half of the season and we didn't draw very many either. Our home form before the turn of the year was about the 4th or 5th best in the league. Our away form on the other hand was atrocious- only winning twice, down there with the worst in the league.
After Christmas we managed to successfully turn the away form around- sadly no-one remembered to keep the home form the way it was. |

LOL 21st-22nd. We won't quite be expelled from the league for being too shite but it will be close. Pre-season form is a good indicator and it does not bode well at all. |

| I've gone for 8th-12th atm despite the major reshuffle over the summer we are still lacking real depth in certain areas mainly down the left hand side of the pitch in defence and midfielder, right side of midfield and in my eyes we still haven't replaced Hourihane (Norburn hasn't inspired me to suggest he has come here to better him)
once these areas are strengthen i'll be very confident of a play off push. |

After Christmas we managed to successfully turn the away form around- sadly no-one remembered to keep the home form the way it was. Sadly it's the results over the whole season that matter. Last season our home record was W 8 D 7 L 8 F23 A26. The season before when we escaped relegation by finishing 21st our home form was W 8 D 7 L 8 F25 A24. The records are nearly identical except last years goal difference was minus 3. The season before plus 1. Making last years record worse. We actually scored two more goals the season before as well. Our away form saved us from yet another relegation battle. Home form that includes losing EIGHT games at home and only scoring "23" goals is usually relegation fodder and a recipe for home fans to stay away in their droves. Some of our younger fans may think that losing a few at home is normal practice. It is if you've been watching since getting promoted to the Championship but the rest of us who've been watching much longer are used to ( seems a long time ago now) Argyle only losing 3 or 4 at home. This was usually countered with rarely winning away. Our travelling fans and exiles may not like it but it's the fans turning up at Home Park that pay the bills. This club will be much better off going back to the old days of winning at home and losing or drawing away. Home form like the last few seasons doesn't deserve the support of Argyle fans let a lone the casual support of the people of Plymouth and surrounds. Patience among many, many fans has worn very thin. Events off the pitch certainly don't help! |

| Better than last year, optimistically I've placed us in the play-offs but 9th or above will keep the pitchfork in the hay loft. |
