To be honest this is just a wild stab in the dark, but this is my prediction of how the basement battle will turn out,Luton champions, automatic Portsmouth Oxford playoff winners Northampton, Going down Accrington Exeter. geek

Burton, AFC Wimbledon, York and Argyle in the play-offs. Burton winning it third time lucky.

It's depressing even thinking about studying the form of 4th division cloggers. Sad

Are Bury the bookies favourites then? Have they had some sort of cash injection to justify it? They've always been lower league also-rans for as long as I can remember.

I forecast Luton to win the league with Argyle 5/6th so may get those two right. I think most have been surprised by Newport so far and Exeter for that matter. I forecast Morecambe and Accrington to go down but it's looking pretty desperate for Hartlepool at present.

I won't be making a habit of it.

Just making the point that not all of us wrote Argyle off at the start of the season and that as long ago as July 6th I predicted that we would win the league so when I say that I expect Argyle to do well or I am accused of lacking ambition I have usually set the target for achievement higher and am actually consistently showing more ambition than those accusing me...

I'll happily accept that we might not end up as Champions but I'll be very, very disappointed should we not be promoted this season.

Small steps and all that.
