WE can confirm match-day prices for the 2014-15 season at Home Park.
John Sheridan and his new-look squad will, as usual, play 23 home matches in Sky Bet League 2 at the Theatre of Greens, starting with the mouth-watering prospect of the Devon Expressway Derby against Exeter on Saturday, August 16.

The standard price structure remains, as follows, with prices for the Wheelchair & Disabled Stand in parentheses:

Adults: £20 (£15)

65+ and Students: £15 (£12)

Under-18: £7 (£6)

All prices will increase by £2 when purchased on the day of a fixture. A family ticket - for one adult and one under 18 - costs £25, rising to £29 on a match-day. Additional under 18s are £5 (£7 match-days).

Exceptions to the above ticket pricing structure will be the games against Exeter and Portsmouth, on November 15. Because of the additional costs the club expects to incur in stewarding and policing in these matches, the Board has decided to increase the standard ticket prices for both games by £1 this season.

This ticket price increase does not affect Argyle Members.

Chief Executive Martyn Starnes said: “Having lost two local derbies because of the relegation of Torquay United and Bristol Rovers, the Exeter and Portsmouth fixtures take on even greater significance from a commercial, as well as football, point of view.

“Whilst we can expect to receive higher than average revenues from these two games, they also attract significant additional costs which we need to mitigate if we are to meet our financial targets. The Board has therefore concluded we must increase the entrance fee for these particular fixtures.”

Ticket prices for our Capital One Cup fixture with Leyton Orient on Tuesday, August 12, will be announced in due course.

22 quid to pitch up on the day if you fancy it. Get fecked I'm off to Cape Town in a few hours to watch MY rugby team the DHL Stormers (sponsored by a proper international company) with 40000 others play the Blue Bulls from Pretoria, a match covered live on TV all over the world including Sky and the ticket has cost me less than 6 quid.

22 quid?

Us pay on the day fans have subsidised the season ticket politburo for years.

Yet you could watch Premier League football for just £4 more or in some cases the same price as we charge!

To be fair the price of the match ticket to the likes of me is a snip compared to the travelling costs.
If it is the price of travel then mank to Texaco diesel or first great western.

I shall only go to about 10-12 games [one or two away too].

The price of watching football today ever increases...

Twenty two quid to watch a team full of freebies scuffle about with york accrington and stevanage? i dont think so! not unless they keep winning of course then i'll be there! but after three years of Brent failure thats not likely in all honesty. i see argyle finishing fifteenth, tops.

I actually think we will have a good season all going to plan. Need to bring in a good replacement for Hourihane to make more confident.

Glad to see you back angry. My optimisic prediction of fithteenth, of course does not include the club going back to Administration, which we all know could well happen.
