| According to the herald pizza hut are looking to open more restaurants in plymouth and they view hhp as a possible location. But if you read his comment about hhp it looks like he is unsure it will happen. He is also keeping tabs on James Brent’s plans at the football stadium although said his “personal opinion” was “it’s slightly less likely to happen”.Link to the story below [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| Another nail in HHP's coffin I think. This kind of thing will become known in business circles fairly quickly. If he thinks it's less likely to happen, you can bet a lot more do. And when they choose to invest away from HHP, that'll become a self-fulfilling prophecy. |

| I thought HHP was supposed to be targeting the more "healthy" option in restaurants? Pizza's doesn't come under that banner does it? |

| "slightly less likely" means never but I wouldn't want to rule it out completely and it always helps in my rent negotiations with British Land.
feckin Pizza Hut!!
There are slightly better pizza chains even if that's difficult to comprehend.

During the planning process it was said that there would be no fast food chains, but the planning conditions do not stipulate this referring only to Class A3 units which can include fast food, whilst the Class A1 units are specified as being for sports and leisure retail |

| Definitely not fast food - had to wait 20 minutes for my Pizza last week. Crap food maybe but definitely not fast, therefore allowable. |

| I agree with Sam with regards to hhp looking less likely to happen. But do you notice it was his personal opion and not pizza huts opinion.

| He's their Operations Director, paid to make these calls.
It's fairly damning that he thinks a project which is months away from a Planning Application is more likely to materialise than a scheme allegedly with 70% take up, which he could sign up for now. |

| Could we not have a decent sized grandstand instead if your failing to find backers for this clusterfuck?

| I think he meant it as well! Moron.
Why on earth protest against a development (Bretonside) Plymouth desperately needs? |

| And for some strange reason Akkeron have been struggling to sell the concept of a feck off great big cinema and retail development in a park, funny that.
PCC would be wise to support BL, they can deliver a project and in a superior and more appropriate location.
