| Looks like the bid for Arts Council grant for new Arts Centre linked to Civic Centre Redevelopment hasn't been successful.
Hopefully they'll have more success from EU before development becomes retail and leisure.

| Without letting the Brent connection cloud my judgement thats a bit of a blow for the City Centre. Hope they get funding elsewhere - it would be an excellent space to get built and to see thriving. |

| I was going to mention this on a thread that has been pulled, Demon mention it on there. The Brent Civic Centre plan is gone and buried. The Art Centre plan was rolled in together. The Council are at a lost what to do with an empty building that know one wants.

| I thought we had a scoop there for a minute, we know there will be a plan B, I may delete all this before Brent sees it and gets ideas. Nah he's already thought of it. |
