I noticed today that the cones have finally been removed & the Embankment is back to two lanes following construction of the "flood prevention" wall.
Anyone know much about the wall & whether it is to be extended lengthways at a later date ?
As it is now it seems pretty pointless as a flood prevention scheme when the banks on either end are equally low lying.

They have applied for a temporary water abatement notice from the environment agency, it's made of heavily laminated paper and is five miles long and three feet wide, it's to be held in place by welfare scroungers.
