| Funny bit on page 2 of DT thread, Droylag wrote: Pretty sad behaviour all round. For the account to exist in the first place to allow a chosen few to provide the hoi-polloi with a select of tidbits is questionable but for it to then have been allowed to pursue a quite clear agenda is indefensible. IJN wrote: If you mean the 'ho-polloi' to include ALL Pasoti'ites then guilty as charged Droly. It's only funny as Droly doesn't say anything on page 1 to be quoted. Had the cleaners in again I see. |

| Anyone au fait with NLP (neuro linguistic programming)? Beloved of council training departments up and down the country i seem to remember. Did Peggy once post about it maybe? [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| Read my mind there, Dougie - I saw the same tweets earlier. I posted a comment a while back about Common Purpose, a well dodgy organisation which does secret training courses for people in leading positions and which uses NLP (aka learning how to manipulate people while making them think they're acting of their own free will - imo). A number of senior people in the council have been on these courses, including Tudor Evans (which is why I posted about it). Here's Common Purpose Exposed.
By the way, will you be designing some promotional material for our great leader? |

Here to help Pants on fire Porkie ? Womble wrote: Daniel (or IJN), it SHOULD be just a football message board. However this has been hijacked by some pretty sad and vindictive people. The sooner these people stop trolling the better for all football fans here. The account of Deep Throat was created in violation of PASOTI's own rules. It was created by a mod who decried the use of pseudomyns (no idea on the spelling of that!). If you dont get why people have a problem with that I suggest you step down for the good of the site. You mention you know who was posting as DT on the night in question, perhaps you should enlighten us? Ian Newell wrote : "Womble", FFS, I'm not Daniel I'm honestly not. I do decry the use of Pseudonyms, but others don't hence me giving the DT password to someone on Saturday. DT was in violation of Pasoti's own rules and I am longer a Mod on Pasoti, although, I found earlier that I still could get in as Pasotimods, but that has now been dealt with. To make you rest easy, I am no longer a co-owner and I can't say I'm distraught at that situation either. The Grumpy Loyal wrote: Yep, we all believe you Ian! |

| Just going to defend NLP a little here. I have no idea about councils using it or it being used to control the masses. However my late wife used it for over 10 years to fight against depression and what was a very mild mental illness.
The techniques she learnt helped her to keep her mental state positive and control what she always called 'negative thoughts'. She used someone from Birmingham who also worked with a number of professional sportsmen, mainly golfers.
I know that used in the right way, for the right purposes there is nothing wrong with NLP but can see how it could be interpreted into something evil. |

| NLP is used by the NHS for various reasons.
It can teach patients to motivate themselves to take care of their own health....including weight control and smoking as well. |

| It's a therapeutic approach available through the NHS, yes - one of many, although apparently one of the more controversial ones.
Quite how that fits with alleged management training courses is another story - have a look at the link I posted. |

| I've no idea! All I know is that a lot of people are very concerned about (a) the use of NLP in training courses for the public sector, and (b) the fact that so many 'names' in Plymouth have been on said courses. The tweets Dougie and I both saw seem to link some of that with the topic of this thread. |

| I like to rip the piss out of the Greenman from Windsor as much as the next man, but a chap's career is, well, his career. It's quite separate from everything else. So I'd be lying if I pretended to care. Unless he's employed by Argyle. Or Radio Devon.
Just like I would avoid bringing his family into things. Unless he whips ait his son at a public event, or sleeps with the captain's wife forcing him to leave the club in the midst of a relegation battle, or blames other people for his errors upsetting his ill father. |

He's still using multis. Fact. There's not much point the mods rooting them out though, is there? What could they do once they found them? |

| "Some views from people who have worked with Chris.....
Peter Ridsdale, Chairman of Preston North End Football Club (formerly of Leeds United, Cardiff City and Plymouth Argyle) said 'I had the pleasure of witnessing at first hand Chris Webb's organising, campaigning and oratory skills whilst I was working at Plymouth Argyle Football Club. In my many years in business and sports management you rarely come across an individual who can focus so clearly on the matter in hand and harness not only his own energies and commitment but those of others to achieve a positive outcome to a common goal. I have no hesitation in endorsing Chris in his future business activities'
Brendan Guilfoyle, renowned Football Administrator of PandA Partners said 'I worked with Chris Webb on the rescue of Plymouth Argyle Football Club in 2012 .
I witnessed Chris chairing very large and emotionally charged public meetings and was in awe of his ability to motivate and direct the fans of the club , he was very effective in carrying forward the fans agenda and participation .
We were not always working to the same outcome but I have to concede that he succeeded in persuading me and getting the owner the fans wanted . He worked closely with the local authority who were also very innovative and recognised the City’s football club as community asset.' ""
Is all this a hoax?
I cannot seriously believe after all the shit thrown at each other, that these three would have the audacity to actually back scratch each other to a vomit inducing degree.
All of them using the carcass of Argyle to further their own ambitions.
Have they no shame?

| No they don't have any shame. I struggle to work with the go getters for any length of time because I don't speak the language apparently. It's my use of the anglo Saxon when I hear bullshit that offends them. They will all stick the knives in each others back if need be, as plastic as a plastic thing. |

To be honest the interest would only be having a non Plymouth domiciled President again. A few people over there would have to rethink and reposition themselves on the value of the views of those living outisde the environs of Home Park. Perhaps thats why they are so quiet about it. |

Crikey they're going to be gutted when they find out about Lady Di. Mind you it will probably come with 15 convenient pop up adverts for brakes, tyres, long camera lenses and a loud video advertising The Ritz in Paris. |
