It's a shame that some of the millions and millions of pounds that this tournament generates couldn't be used to alleviate some of the poverty that abounds in Brazil in stead of just hoofing loads of people out of the Favellas. Rio was where the police were shooting young homeless kids to help with the figures at county hall as well. The world cup should be used to highlight the plight of a lot of poor South Americans and show the war on drugs for what it is, a farce.
As for our chances we should look at it as a chance to start building a team for the future, I think that we will sneak into the quarters.
