These are obviously hard and desperate times for our needy friends and I think they need a little help on the official site so here's a little shove to help out their 'site manager' in his moment of need.

Just a reminder that the amnesty for banned posters is still in place.
Earlier this season we received several requests from previously banned posters asking if they could be allowed back onto PASOTI; their appeals were successful and they now enjoy using PASOTI once again.

A successful amnesty was then introduced which continued throughout the season. If any other banned posters would like to return to PASOTI please send your request by email to pasotimods@yahoo.co.uk along with your previous username and we will take a look at your request.

Thanks

What is with these 'amnestys' on Pasoti?

They ban whoever they don't like 11 months a year (for any stupid reason), then spend 1 month begging for them to come back.

All I know for sure is it bugs the shit out of dear old Ian that I know so I mention it every now and then. He can half-deny it all he likes but he's lying when he does.

I was just told "3 extremely well-connected Argyle people". Ian has said a few times that I have said it is James Brent (not that I have) and that it isn't him. My best guess is Webb, Jones and Nikkk but that is a guess.

After that guess for yourself.

Why would Dave Gadd sell to Napoleon otherwise?

Without the strategy to integrate with the club, and the big wigs on board, it makes no sense to hand over to a person who can only be described as dividing opinion among the people he stumbles across both online and in person.

Can anyone remember the absolute shitstorm they created when McLondon Green wanted to buy pasoti and GoS? Ian De Lar and his mod team hated him and denounced 'the agenda' at every opportunity. It was like McCarthyist America in those days with the agendas and suspicion!

A forum that costs a decent amount of money to run should always be owned by its members. It can be a complicated process as you have to register and have a committee etc. but it stops forums from being what pasoti is - I.e. "it's my ball, my rules, I'm going home".

Wasn't Jones involved with the Kevin Ball (McLondon) consortium- I wonder if Jones was involved in the scheme to buy pasoti? maybe it failed first time, but he got his clutches on it (via Newell) second time?
