| You followers of the mighty PAFC will not have been paying any attention to last night's results in the Conference, but if you had you would have noticed that Braintree snuck into the play off zone by beating the team that was sitting in that coveted fifth spot, Nueaton.
Three of the four spots are currently filled by Alfreton, Gateshead and Braintree, three sides who draw less than a 1,000 to their home games making ECFC look positively mahoosive.
I know that many of you lay awake at night now wondering how you are going to explain to your children and grand children why the mighty PAFC were having to fulfil league fixtures against the likes of Accy, Dagenham and Morecambe, what on earth would you say if one of these real minnows were to make it up? |

| Gateshead have already knocked us out of the FA Cup, in the fifth round. |

| Maybe we'll finally outnumber home fans on their own patch for a game next season. If we're going to Braintee, crucial game for promotion and nothing riding on it for them... |

We did that on a couple or three occasions in the Conference and came close once in the 4th div. |

So we can add them to Stourbridge and Dorchester on the roll of honour. |

Or in the case of Gateshead, how far you would have to go. |

| Would be good to see Cambridge United back in the football league, they've been in the conference far too long.
I could see Gateshead establishing themselves in the league pretty quickly if they got promoted.
Forest Green or Salisbury could possibly make it with a run of wins but looks likely, would be good if one of those came up |

Nuneaton are there abouts but their form is a bit poo. I think Cambridge may have blown it again, their play off record is a litany of disappointment. |

You'll get a nice price for that, they're not far off the pace but their form is nowt to write home about. |
