Oddly either Bastille or Arctic Monkeys (whatever happened to the definite article, eh?) are the most streamed act everywhere bar London where it is Daft Punk (!).

And who the hell are Avicil or Imagine Dragons??

Avicii are a country/dance act from the US.

Imagine Dragons are an indie rock act from the US.

5-10 years ago Spotify was excellent. Now I don't know anyone who uses it.

Spotify went commercial. Expect Youtube to go that way too one day. I loved Spotify but then every other nob-end got in on the act. Basically, anything good on the web, when it becomes popular, turns shite. I remember using google when it was a beta search engine - now it's everywhere. feckin populist shite.

I think Bastille are crap but geddon Woody.

Turning a penny on every corner. A bit like Main St really. The revolution is being stolen, but will carry on somewhere else.
There's always been pop and pap out there for those that get off on it. Easily avoided.
Live local performance is where it's at, along with a little taste. Ain't that right Knecht.
