What's wrong with being anally intruded? Don't knock it until you've tried it. Czarcasm's just repressed. It's not intrusion if you've opened the door, welcomed them in with a tip of your hat and made them feel at home.

I actually don't want to welcome anyone in with the tip of anything. But each to his own - and I have tried that.

Like you say Hairy, every word typed by IJN is twist into some conspiracy plot, but no one will tell me to what purpose his great master plan works towards. I find it hard to trust the words of people who made up bullsh1t about me being a IJN multi on Pasoti - because I know for a fact it was a lie conjured on here. So sorry if I don't believe every word of the Newell files or whatever the feck it is he's supposed to have done, but many (not all) posters on here don't have the best track record for truth telling.

Had what Punchdrunk did the other night on here happened on Pasoti, this place would have gone absolutely wild over those events. As it is, no one of Pasoti has even mentioned it - and that's not because of censorship, but because most don't care about what you are writing or doing on here.

Now believe it or not, but there's a game of football on today that our club is participating in. Not surprising to see 2 threads about it with a total of 7 posts... Forget Newell, perhaps watch some of the football?

I met a bloke last night - a very nice elderly gentlemen, I would guess about 80. He is involved in the club in a relatively small but important way. We didn't mention the internet at all. We had a very pleasant chat about Argyle - along with his younger companion. The companion had been a season-ticket holder for many years. He gave it up before the lead-up to administration as he was fed up with all the nonsense that had been going on (I didn't ask what he meant).

The older man is still a season ticket holder & has been for many many years. He was clearly passionate about the club. When we touched on the politics at Argyle, his response was that he is suspicious of Brent's motives and statements, doesn't like the stand proposals, really doesn't like how the PCC have been dealing with developments around the city and thought the return of Wrathall was "morally wrong" as all the employees who had been dumped on during the administration period had lost out big time. But he then proceeded to list the matches, home & away, that he was going to get to and we talked animatedly about the chances of the play-offs. I could see him dancing on the Wembley pitch if we got promoted.

So there are two people who have a degree of disillusionment with events at the club. One of whom has stopped going though he keeps up to date with it all. The other who is cross with various things but is still passionate. Neither of them were keyboard warriors. Just thought I'd share that with you.

Moral: the club have a lot of work to do to reassure ordinary customers supporters.

Done that, bought the Pasoti mug. Except over there they also played tricks with one's user account.I gt fed up with my password constantly changing. That, and other things, is why I dumped them into touch and pootled over here. Nowadays my opinion that was allowed to stand years ago wouldn't last 5 minutes under the new regime and it's heavy censorship. That's a gift to Jimmy from the Pasoti owners.

I just got back from the park with the kids. I thought I saw a giraffe in a bin with binoculars. Chortle.

True knecht - of all the Argyle fans I know in the flesh, not one of them mentions the internet. It's probably less than 50 people who post regularly and about 10 people who veer towards freak/weirdo status. Two on here don't even live in the country.

I do get that, but there's a lot of activity on threads like this that knock Newell & Co. But there's a lack of activity on threads talking about the team. Shows where this site tends to obsess more.

It's all to do with why this Site came into existence....because of PASOTI/Newell.

There has been a mention of the original twelve recently who were founder members.....can anyone name them out of interest ?

It's a small minority of posters on here rather than the site that does that. You're a part of ATD spowell and you don't do it.

Why don't you forget Newell and leave us to make up our own minds about him? You just want to live in a nice world, nothing wrong with that but don't try and take me with you.
It was universally accepted that you were a Newell multi account, you had me fooled as well tbh, I mean if you go and read back your earlier pasoti work you either look like Ian Newell or come across as soooooo sycophantic that you have possibly been lobotomised by the PAFC pr machine.

The first 10 on this list plus GOB.Can't think of the other one.

https://www.argyletd.com/memberlist?mode=joined&order&submit=Ok&username

Rickler, GOB and my good self were always the main AT protagonists on a crusade to expose the emerging control freaks on pasoti. You must be familiar with the line,'Get rid of those three and you'll have a nice little forum'.
Personally, I was removed from pasoti for continually warning against trusting in stapes and not simply enjoying the ride/football. I still used to go to a few games, mainly away, but I felt a depressing inevitability about our demise , for reasons oft stated previously. I could also sense Nool's ambition to 'be someone' at Home Park through his, 'I'll never hear a bad word spoken about that man and his lovely family' , stance. He understood the power of the internet and it coincided with the 'business lounge', where he could get closer to the suits.
The reluctant one was heaven sent for Nool's ambitions and the the die was well and truly cast.

In a nutshell, Argyle have always frustrated me and underachieved compared to other clubs with similar potential fanbases. I still have increasingly slender hopes that one day the club will rise under inspired leadership but with the current ownership and plans for HHP, I won't waste my time and money on physically supporting it.

Indeed Knecht.

5am - 6.30am: catch up on some paid work
6.30am - 7.30am: Get children ready
7.30am - 9.20am: Swimming with the children (mine Smile)
9.20am - 11am: Homework with children
11am-12.30pm: Lunch
12.30pm-Now: Ironing whilst watching the Man Utd game
Now-2.45pm: Run (without children)
3pm: Argyle World for the match with a virtuous Weston's or three

My Saturday mornings are spent frantically doing everything I can think of family wise to buy me a quiet 2 hours with a couple of beers listening to the game and bantering on here.

Being a Father and Argyle fan....innit Smile

"You become what you think about all day long" and that is why the C word is in the blocker, how quaint.

Despite not being a resident of Muff any more I have aquired a ticket for the Exeterrrrrrrrr match and will be there alongside my Palace fan brother in law.

Let's talk footy.

When Newell slinks off out of view then his memory will soon become a distant one, we are all in agreement that we can't wait for that day but whilst he continues to protest his innocence in all his wrongdoing it's not going to stop. No one tries to stop anybody talking about the football on this site and contrary to popular belief the huge majority on here will be willing the team to win, check out any of the match threads to read the truth.
