| I think I MIGHT have made a MATE. I regularly STOP off in Co-op on MY WAY home (PRAPS thrice a fortnight) for BITS and PIECES. Since abait Chrimbo (PRAPS earlier) there has been a YOUNG male who has served me at the CHECKAIT. He seemed NICE at first but now I think there might be something SINISTER going dain.
He asks me things like "how's your day been?", or, if I'm buying beer, PRAPS "you going ait tonight?".
I don't think he is doing it in a 'I fancy you' way; in FACT I think he's just a bit of a nice guy. I'm certainly not comfy with it. I have enough friends already (TWELVE). He's become a bit too FAMILIAR. I have AVOIDED Co-op for the past fortnight and am rapidly heading into a SITUATION where I am running ait of BITS and PIECES.
Shall I:
Try Tesco Metro and their LESS ETHICAL more GROSSLY CAPITALIST DOG EAT DOG THE WORLD EATS IT'S FOOKIN SELF mantra?
Or:
Become MATES with this YOUNG male and PRAPS invite him AIT fer my birthday next week?
Or:
?
help asap plz. |

| Mock, how about this... Smile at him, give him a kiss on the cheek and he won't go near you ever again. It works with women as well! _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! | It's a sad world, if because someone is being pleasant you end up avoiding them. Just smile and carry on. (Like the ethical bit.) |

| He's probably going for "Employee of the Month" or even greater things. I think your moral dilemma is whether to boost his chances by engaging with him at the expense of other staff. But it sounds like this is the member of staff you actually know so why not spread a little sunshine in his world?
The alternative is for him to fail, get reduced to the ignominy of shelf-stacking, get disillusioned, lose his job, go to work in MacDonalds, become ashamed at how far he's fallen so pack it all in, fail to get benefits, be evicted, be forced to live on the streets and finally as all hope seems to be gone, commit suicide. Could you live with that on your conscience? |

| I would try to be pleasant but aloof and maintain that professional veneer to that customer/servant interface. I had a similar situation at Somerfields in Tavvy, I actually thought the young man was lonely so told him I was going for a pint and he was welcome to join me he just kind of smirked and shook his head as he turned his back on me and walked away. Never again. |

| You might THINK you've got TWELVE friends Mockers but they might think differently...never, ever look a gift friend in the mouth...
Unless it's offering you a free pass to the business lounge at HP, then you'd be in for a life of repaying obligations. |

Somerfields & the Co-op.......it's the same person.....he'll be working in Lidl's next....then it will be a food bank.....followed by cheap cider on the Hoe....there's only one place left for him then.........a Fansfest singalong. |

| Praps he got sent on loan to Saaafsy when CWOP got all billy big for boots an started dominating the convenience store scene like a fookin conglomerate. Today he proffered the suggestion that one turned ones frain upside dain. Bizarre really. I wasn't fraining, I wuz glaring lividly fore he'd taken circa one year to serve some ELDERLY dear in front of me (ffs how did she get there!?). |

| Fawcett yer mean? There's always a homeless man with an aggressive dog aitside that one. There is a mini Sainsbreeze opened up across the road but I refuse to go in there cos they don't ever have enough staff (instead relying on self service-fookin cheapskates). |

| I didn't shop in Lidls, Kwop, Sainsbreeze, Sumarefeeled or Tessgo today. But I did buy a few drinks in the pub (sadly not the Tamar). The landlady was sober and that's better than not being surly, surely. |
