Come on Gob, keep up. I've been enjoying the rich stench of fear and realisation as the truth dawns on some of the superfans over the last couple of weeks now, shorely I'm not the only one?

It has been plainly obvious Iggy but sometimes it's nice to put it into words

If Brent's folly really is going tits up then Webb will want to prepare for jumping, what better way then a speech of insincere passion that criticises the directors. Maybe Webb will jump before he is pushed in an attempt to distance himself from the shit heap that he has been defending and promoting for several years?
My thoughts too.

I think he'll go. He sits in the Lyndhurst for a start and won't go in the box - unlike knuckle head and the rest of the odious t-shirt selling humpty dumpties.

He will go...just before the Club goes and in an amazing blaze of glory speech of how he couldn't stand back and watch the Club die, so he resigns in protest.
Just after Brent will be named 'The Malignant One' by Newell as he storms the Directors Box in protest, while screaming "the directors should hang their head in shame for they have done to the Club".

We say far worse about him. Thankfully we only have to endure the embarrassment of his "Presidency" for a few more weeks.

I think he will resign at the end of the season. I don't have any inside info but I think he is looking for a way out.

Fair enough. I think he values the 'prestige' of being president too much to resign.

As much as I agree that he values the prestige of being President I think even someone as dimwitted as him realises that next season is going to be a very bad one for Brent. Webb will want to distance himself from the inevitable fall out.
