The path is being readied i think.

I thought once you have been involved with a bankrupcy you were banned from holding a directors seat? i know they didnt get declared indivdully but still i cant see the fa allowing it.

Once you're discharged from your bankruptcy, usually after 12 months, you're free to be a director, either for the first time or once again.

i thought it was longer myself but thankyou poi. I still dont think the fa will allow any of the 6 remaining members of the M7 to be owners/directors at any club again

I can't help but think that Newell is crapping himself that Stapes would be allowed back in and then he (Newell) gets his ass kicked out of the directors box.

Maybe the question should be, who would you rather sit beside, Newell or Stapleton?

The football authorities had no qualms at all about Thaksin Shinatra owning Man City or Carson Yeung own Birmingham. Any of the M7 will not even register a blip on their radar.

where they part of a bankrupcy hearing before they bought their clubs? afterwards they had their probs but im not sure had they had the financial issues beforehand as the fa wouldn't have allowed them to purchase those clubs.

Not sure Angry but surely it would all come under the "fit & proper" umbrella wouldn't it ?
A discharged bankruptcy is pretty tame compared to what those two were supposedly up to.

I maybe wrong but I didn't think any of the M7 were made bankrupt anyway.

had a check couldnt find anything on those two till after they bought their clubs so thats probably why they passed it certainly wouldt have otherwise.

the m7 werent made bankrupt individually but they were in charge of a club that went into administration and racked up heavy debts which would make the fa a bit wary as to allowing hem to own a club or be a director again.
