| Never seen anything like it in my lifetime. Debris was being picked up and scattered 40feet up on the road. Calmed down a lot now, mind. [/url]} |

| I have just been saying the same thing Tgwu, that was the worst storm I have ever witnessed, it's quite heartbreaking to see the mess left behind and t=it's not over yet. |

| I can remember many year ago when the Wet Wok was refurnished and the day it open it was a wash out.
Thursday, December 15 2011
I am sorry to say that the wet wok is now closed for business due to terrible storm damage. We hope to be up and running again in the near future. |

Great pic TG. You must have been up there a bit earlier than me! I've been there for meals when it's been stormy as fook and it's amazing to have a window seat watching it all. Obviously this was a bit more than just 'stormy'.... |

| There's a video doing the rounds on FB that show waves hitting the sea wall and then over the houses at West Hoe, I've never seen that happen before. |

| I heard an interview this morning from someone who was in Kingsand. The Hall there is having its foundations washed away. People have been evacuated from the front. Pebbles were being thrown into the air & smashing windows.
And as for Looe, Dawlish & Porthleven..... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-26044323
It's about bloody time that King Charles came down and walked on water to still the angry waves! |

Yeah I heard the restaurant will be closed tonight, but I thought it was because it was majorly busy? I was told they are still waiting for the chef and the kitchen staff to wash up. |
