A friend twisted my arm a few years ago when I lived in the Midlands to go the theatre in Brum to see a comedy on stage. It was absolute trash. As cheap & puerile as it gets. The audience were laughing like drains. Yes.... it was Mrs Brown. God help us!
I like Johnny Vegas.

After hearing lots of people banging on about Mr Brown's Boys, I thought I'd better watch some of it.
What a crock of horse-shit. I have never seen something so unfunny in my miserable life.
Pete Kay - crap, not funny Johnny Vegas - absolutely shite Most modern comedy acts = shite, not funny.
I could go on but I may be mistaken for a miserable bastard.
Have you seen Les Dawson at all? Probably right up your street.
My top 5 stand-ups
Frankie Boyle Terry Alderton Rich Hall Kevin Bridges (when he started) Stuart Lee
Bill Bailey's always good and I like Bill Hicks although, he's not exactly (or was) a comedy act.
Why is Mrs Brown's Boys popular? Sensiblegreeny likes it.... arghhhhhhh

I met Johnny Vegas in Cork when he was there playing a gig, we couldn't get into the gig because it was sold out but we met him outside a pub and had a couple of pints with him and he was hilarious, genuinely funny bloke.
