| Trotman must have a chest of steal lol
Cole kept us up last season with his performances so i have confidence he will make it difficult for McCormick to take his place back. |

| Excellent shot stopper though Luke has it on crosses and corners I think |

| If McCormick has the edge on corners and crosses then I dread to think of what Cole is like in those situations. Unless a few years in the nick has seen McCormick drastically improve. |

| Can't be much fun for JC to be stuck on the bench, he'll get quite a few games now.
This doesn't weaken the XI much at all, though Argyle would be deep in the brown stuff if anything happened to JC.
Problem is, who wants to come on loan to div 4 to sit on the bench for a month? |

| Cole is an excellent shot-stopper. Luke is a far better keeper. But at this level Cole will do a good enough job. |

| Getting keepers in on loan is really easy as there's always a keeper at a club who isn't playing. Man City have six goalkeepers on their books who could play in senior games - bonkers.
I think we'll miss Luke in goal. Cole is OK but he's awful when a ball is crossed in and he's under pressure. The Port Vale games proved that. |

| No-more of that nauseating "Super Luke" chanting from the Devonport end morons for a while. What a shame. |

Hi Sam, yeah I realise that, we have the dispensation to sign a keeper, but my point was who is gonna want to come down to Argyle for a month and likely play no games... or Argyle just gonna just play with no specialist goalie on the bench, Hannah is what 15/16 y.o would be unfair to put him on the bench... though having said that has he already appeared on the bench for PAFC.. So Argyle will only enter loan market if JC injured or suspended... guess we're covered. |

| Luke's handling has been rather unconvincing in the past few home games, definitely not as secure as in the earlier part of the season. No objection to Cole personally, not a bad keeper to bring in-this position is one of the least of Argyle's worries IMHO. |

I guess on days that Hannah has a youth team game on, we may field a subs bench without a keeper on it. That way the first team isn't that much worse off but Hannah's development still progresses. |

| Hannah is still a kid don't forget. I mean he quite literally can't even kick to the half way line in the warm up.
Cole will do fine - he was one of our best players last season. The CBs just need to help him out when those crosses come in and trying not to boot his head off when he is coming to collect. |

que steptoe and son to chip and defend mccormick's crime Great post m8 Who's this steptoe and son person? I think Cole was lauded as a great player last season as he was always involved in the game from start to finish. He had a lot of shot stopping to do. For me, the season's pretty much over. We won't go down, we won't go up. I can't wait for some other fictional duos to add to this thread - perhaps Jeeves and Wooster! |

| Out for the rest of the season with a dislocated finger!!!! they take a month perhaps two to recover from at best. I had two on one hand and was able to box after 6 weeks you literally pop them back in and set. I cant understand the logic of who assessed it and told him he wont play again this season its unnecessary and over the top to me.
Jake will be ok i have no worries there with him in goal. |

| Bert Trautmann must be laughing from the great goalmouth in the sky, If this was rugby he'd have bitten the finger off, poked one of the opposition up the bum plug with it and carried on playing, Dear oh dear. |
