What happened there?

they had a bit of a shuffle on the pitch which resulted in mccormick being booked and i think he injuried his hand as a result or before it but he came off.

A third late equaliser in a little over a month after the one at Wimbledon, and the one last week against Cheltenham. We'll at least the team shows fight to the final whistle!

Lack of quality in general though - mid table at best this season.

they should have comfortable given the amount of chances they had theat shows the lack of depth upfront as they were missed with style.

Another lucky scraped point and the form continues to falter since Lavery went home.
Sounded very poor. Quite liked Branston's commentary, a bit of fun, insight, and just a little candid. Well done.
One such candid moment, and I paraphrase, was "if Banton can sort out his defensive responsibilities, he'll be able to get a better move away from here". Probably sums up more succinctly where the club are, better than I ever could.
Great result for Hargreaves and Hodges. Anyone with half a brain could tell that was a bit of a coup getting those two to team up. Wouldn't surprise me at all if Torquay now finish higher than Argyle.

Well, a point is better than none obviously but that sounded atrocious from start to end. It does show desire to get a late goal like that but it sounded like desire was something lacking from start the 85th minute. We robbed that one I think.

The boring, pragmatic reality is we're probably good enough to come mid-table. Not good enough to come top seven, not so bad as to be in any serious danger of the bottom two.

I still do genuinely think we'll improve when Banton and Parsons come good (sounds like Banton is getting fitter and more involved by the game, you don't lose it overnight) we will get a bit better again and come top half but we're 11 points off the play-offs. Too big a gap to make up unless we show 2 points a game form for the rest of the season. That isn't gonna happen. Been too many games like this this season.

I understand we're in transition but transition may not be much use next season if Brent slashes the budget and we can't afford to build on the foundations we've created this season. This was our big chance to go up and I think we've blown it. Bleak.

Well it's only speculation that he's cutting it at the moment. Not confirmed by any means but let's face it, it wouldn't be surprise of the century.

sam you happy clappies have not got a clue, there are no foundations being laid, this team is crap there was never a prayer of making the playoffs, and this shockingly poor side could easily go down. you were also a big fan of fletchers in the past i believe, so i'll take your opinon with a pinch of salt, this club will be strugglers while the property speculator holds the reigns

Trust you to pick up one bit of my post and take it out of context.

Of course today was crap, of course there are underlying problems with the ownership and of course we won't go up as I said.

But we undeniably are better than the last two years and those are more solid foundations to build upon than previously.

Our ability to improve the weak spots however, and actually build on the foundations rather than merely pass over the opportunity to do so however is dependant on the budget which the grapevine suggests may be notably lowered.

we are not undeniably better than two years ago, we have a better goal keeper and a better manager apart from the young leftback the rest are no better than the previous donkeys, there are imo no foundation's being laid.the club under brent is going nowhere.

Freezing cold, couldn't have a fag for two and a half hours, crap game but apart from that,a very enjoyable afternoon. In fairness to both teams the wind was horrible today, which couldn't have made things easy but Argyle are showing an obvious lack of belief-even allowing for the departure of Lavery, some players, notably Reid and Hourihane, are not showing the same form as they did during the good spell either side of christmas.I don't think there was any lack of effort today,it was the passing and final ball decision making that let Argyle down again, pretty much the same as last week.Banton had a better game today but, oddly for someone who is alleged to be arrogant and cocky, seems to be almost totally lacking in confidence-certainly nothing like the player of last season.McCormick and Trotman seemed to spend the afternoon having a go at each other which resulted in a booking for the pair of them after a tiff in the second half, not sure why McCormick went off though.Very good goal from Alessandra after an excellent dummy and cut back from Thomas which sent the full back into spasms, saved the day to a small degree but far from convincing overall.I'm golfing on the day of the York match-can't turn down a free round at St Mellion-and at the moment can't say that i'm sorry to be absent.

Superluke injured a finger whilst making a save, after colliding with Trotters. Then Superluke pushed Trotters in the chest and Trotters then retaliated by shoving Superluke in the chest. Both were yellow carded.Brilliant bit of skill by Thomas right at the end, which led to the equaliser. He turned the defender so much the poor guy injured himself, and then crossed low into the box foe Alessandra to slot home.Lavery being greatly missed.

Drab dull and uninspiring. Only lit up by a piece of genuine class by Thomas to set up Allesandra.

If he (Thomas) could do that consistently during a game he would rip this league to pieces.

Allesandra is frustrating as feck. On the one hand he'll give the ball away needlessly and make simple basic errors all the time. But then he's one of only three or four in the whole squad that you're half confident will get you a goal.

Thomas was amazing at the end. He turned the player so many times, he looked like a pretzl. He must start. It was cold. I had two hats on today, long johns and three pairs of socks.

First half, they were awful and there for the taking. We weren't brave. Second half, they scored by mistake and roused the angry greens. It was bloody rubbish. The end though, fabulously good.
