| I wonder if Lee C Jameson (I wonder what the C stands for) (Hello Lee Hello Tony) has contacted Foot Anstey for a donation for the shirt yet. I guess will find out when he leaks their answer to Pasoti and Private Eye and denigrates the memory of Micheal Foot again. |

| Why doesn't James Brent donate £1,000 of tomorrows gate receipts to own that shirt? |

| I suspect the figures don't add up. Maybe the council will buy it and give it to him ? |

| Actually, I'm not really surprised, Angry. The whole Pasoti fund raising thing was a one off from the days of administration, and in particular the staff fund. Fans were bound to give to that, or to the ripped off St John Ambulance, and of course much was collected at games. The post admin auctions were just a side show and vehicle for Nikkkkkkkkkkkkkkk to play the gallery, so the whole culture of this Pasoti "fund raising" has just about run it's course.
What the high profile collections did do however is give Mr Givin' an opening into the contingency thing and from there, the club. Just as some people thought they could cajole the Trust into handing over 400K, I expect much was also made of the potential of Pasoti to be a money earner for the club. The day to day reality is quite different. And then look at the charity shambles of the Peru thing, although probably not helped by the fact many of us fans know it's just a walking activity holiday. If I want to give to the wonderful St Lukes, which I have always done, I know where to take my money, without Pasoti being some self-congratulating middle man. Michael Foot is the only man I can think I would be happy with standing inside Home Park, but I sure as heck won't be contributing to anything Mr Jamieson and/or Pasoti is organising. |

| I expect this is a staged auction. Nikkk will outbid anyone, but will any money be exchanged, how would anyone know. |

Michael Foot would disown the club if he was alive today thats forsure. |

| I expect the irony, if not horror, of having a statue of him paid for by a high interest money lender would not be lost on him |

| I vote that instead of his trademark donkey jacket we dress Michael in a new puma stripes shirt, holding a pasoti mug covered with stickers and maybe rattling a bucket with Akkeron written on it. |

| Not wishing to be pedantic Angry but it's more of an appeal by the club and not a pasoti auction. |
