The laws of the land have been passed and it all kicks off. An apparent drug dealer and a prominent leader of a gang...not much sympathy from me

well at least the met didnt on this occasion shot dead an innocent brazilian running to catch a train in the head several times and reward the officers in charge with knighthoods. They are now shooting dead villians and a nasty one at that in duggan. Worked with few in my job who had dealings with him and he was nothing more than a wannabe kray twin with tony Montana traits.
so no sympathy from me only for the victims of the riots it caused.

Not reported by any papers!
Seems bang to rights, carry a gun and you risk getting shot, I am sure the criminal's code would have prevented him from using it on an unarmed man.

Seems like the major news channels won't be happy until we get another riot.........i get the feeling they we're banking on it.

Sky News et al don't help themselves, do they. Why is it Sky news always have their cameras and their two-bit intern reporters conveniently placed in newsworthy hotspots? It's like they manufacture their own news, FFS. I hate Sky. Especially that complete and utter moral horse riding bint kate Burly, and that fat condescending prick 'News, Views and interviews' Maccy D's munching prick Adam Bolton.
What ever happened to news at 6 with Kenneth McCloud? Do you think he looks like a 50 year old Dara O'Briain?
Ken Macleod used to drink in the Seven Stars when I worked there, proper character who loved a few pints and gin by the gallon, lovely bloke though.

Ah.... the Seven Stars. Another of my early pubs. A group of us aged between 15 - 17 dropped in there. We were served but 2 or 3 had pints full of flies. One plucked up the courage to take it back. Really sorry, said the landlord & gave him another. Also full of flies. We took the message & left. Never been sure if his barrel was buggered or if he was pouring off the slops tray!

As for the news it's never been so bad. The bbc with their breakfast news program annoy me more than most with promotion of strictly cooking on ice or featuring the latest feckin diet. A lot of their reporting is badly biased from an urban centric 2.4 children lets not rock the boat wank. When a real story rolls up like when the people of a town walked between the pickets and the riot police in the fuel protests a few years ago the government told them to STFU, they did and the protest was broken. Seven years later Panorama "broke" the story to be heralded as brave heroes! You will never have true freedom without a free press. Ask XIsle.
