| Anyone else interested or excited? Personally, I have my camera rigged up to my telescope already. I have been testing it this week in anticipation for when comet Ison appears in the eastern sky from December 3rd onwards. Apparently it will be visible for the whole of December. | My kids gave me a telescope last Christmas and I am yet to use it, maybe this could be the moment!
So, how does it work, where do I point it and at what time of the night etc etc? |

I've heard that a good practice method is to turn your bedroom lights out, open the curtains, sit away from the window and see if you can focus on someone else's bedroom light. |

| Believe it or not this sort of discussion featured in my recent divorce. I was going to continue with an explanation but I think I'll leave it there. |

| But comets aren't just made of ice. They've got metal and stuff in them as well.
I know because I saw a bloke making one on a Horizon programme. |
