It must be very sad running a website for what must be a maximum of 20 contributors. Sad

Undoubtedly it was the biggest independent Argyle site but has now been brought to its knees by the lies & corruption of a few. pig jocolor jocolor

Another website I frequent is due to close in December due to the cost of running it (server cost I think) & more people using Facebook for all manor of things.

Seeing as pasoti now gets so little traffic (other than multis talking to themselves) I wonder how long it can be kept running.
If indeed it is owned by Newell (more likely funded by Brent or Nikkkkkkkkkkk) it must be costing a fair whack each month to keep online,
I don't see many adverts on there to pay for it apart from the obvious.

Another forum I frequent needs around £5k a year to run. Members pay £10 a year as a donation and we've got funds for about three years in the bank - to do that though you need a committee and a constitution etc. as it's run like a company. That forum currently has 8.3 million posts and generally gets 1,000+ users online at any one time so it's considerably bigger there's 9,600 members. It doesn't cost that much to keep a forum going and pasoti is very much text based so the server doesn't have to be massive. I doubt it woukd cost more than £500 a year to keep it going.

The Black Pasty and its inhabitants reminds me of Blackadder and the script writing of Rowan Atkinson, Richard Curtis and Ben Elton.

They're all there, the adder, Percy, Baldrick, even Queen Liz. Can't quite work out where Graham Clark fits in..................

Perhaps he's Sir Thomas More ? You know, the one who pointed out when Liz was born and everyone was shouting, 'It's a boy ! It's a boy !' That a boy without a winkle, is in fact a girl. Smarter than the average Aviva. Hope a similar fate does not await him, come the Act of Supremacy at HP.

Will the Black Pasty dwellers take over the kingdom ? Watch this space.............
