Very disappointing spell.I do think he was a bit of a victim of the "we want Tyler coz 'e's a local bhey inny" syndrome but that said,he didn't contribute nearly enough in terms of goals or assists to justify the reputation that his previous record indicated.Presumably Shezza is still going to pursue another striker,Rene Howe has been mentioned in some quarters which would be another decent sounding signing, hopefully whoever comes in will turn out to be of greater benefit to the team than Hayes.

Maybe we will land that decent player that we need if we carry on creeping away from the bottom two, I can see why a manager doesn't want to damage a young players confidence playing in a struggling team.

If the rumours about Rene Howe are true and he is prepared to come back to Devon i'll be well happy, i've seen him play and he looked a bit of a beast, similar to that Pompey player Adgemang? whether Jimmy is prepared to pay his probably quite high wage is another matter, lets hope so.

Unfortunately, there is the major flaw in the plan. We won't get anyone of good L2 quality. It'll either be someone very young in need of some first team experience or some past it, 'well travelled', non-scoring journeyman so desparate he'll sign for anyone. |

Good riddance. Could have played Harvey all this time and had a few goals.

Im sure it would have been a different story had he been fit but i cnat help but feel this loan signing was a complete waste of time. Especially for one month given he wasnt match fit.

Hayes always a desperation signing and clearly totally lacking match fitness. Be very surprised if Rene Howe in the frame, but I would definitely sign him, be warned he has a poor disciplinary record and looks lazy a lot of the time HOWEVER he has the Knack of being in the right place at the right time and is fairly skillful for a big man.
