| He's gone down a lot in my estimation with the "revelations" in his book out today. He talks about Beckham being a money man, and Rooney, yet here he is hawking an updated autobiography where he is spilling the beans on things that really ought to have stayed in the dressing room, which is what he advocates from his players. By repeating his claims that Rooney is greedy and wanted to leave last season he is making David Moyes job even harder than it already is. He's said that Rooney wasn't fit enough to last 90 minutes last season and basically calls him a thicko. This is probably true but I don't really see how a Manchester United Director can say things that undermine a current player like this. He wouldn't have stood for it if it happened to him whilst he was still manager yet he's happy to do it to sell more copies of his book. The only thing I did hear which I liked was that he was offered the England job twice and took all of 10 seconds to turn it down both times Now that is good to hear from a Jock. |

| He went down in my estimation as a person during his race horse saga. Like the Irish pair were going to give him a horse that was going to be worth zillions in breeding fees. Greedy as feck so he has no room talking about others. I don't think he gives a toss if Moyes succeeds or fails. Actually Moyes failing would probably suit his ego far more. Great manager but poor human being. |

I agree totally. The only thing that has stopped him being perfect was his diarrhoea. |

| Au contraire, Monsieur Friio. It was his diarrhoea that saved him a hefty fine. |

He's right about Roy Keane though. The guy could put the fear of God into Duncan Ferguson or Andoni Goikoetxea. I remember the evil stare he gave the interviewer when he was manager of Ipswich(?)

| Roy Keane is the sort of wanker that would thump you in the back of the head as you walk out the pub door to engage him in the fight he just asked you for, not hard just a nasty bastard. |

Remember when he got stroppy because Mariner didn't have a drink with him after Argyle won at Portman Road a few years back? Cloughie could handle him though-laid him out with a firm right cross after a pass back from Roy didn't reach the target and cost Forest a goal. |

| Roy Keane was the midfielder in the world at one point, but he does come out with some silly things on TV |

hes damaging the club which made him famous Especially as he's still a director of the club who will still bump into people like Rooney who he's really had a pop at in the book. |
