Bit surprised that The Herald and Spotlight didn't pick up on it. I suppose it's of no local interest.

Some of my school friends work on the nuclear subs in the Muff.

I wouldn't trust them to run Stoke Damarel ffs.

That's very true as it seems the meltdown is reaching the water-table and if it reaches it in any sizable amount it will explode causing a radiation cloud that will pollute the whole planet and a large chunk of the world will need to be evacuated for thousands of years, making Chernobyl seem like a duff firework.

It will take 25,000 years for 50% of the waste at Chernobyl to loose its radiation threat.
It will take another 25,000 years for 50% of what is left to lose its radiation threat.
It will take another 25,000 years for 50% of is what is left to lose its radiation threat...and so on.

Meanwhile, the PASB will still be asking about the fanfest and the debt owed to the Club.
