Attendences

Noticible this weekend that the attendence was a smidgen over 1000 down on the opening game of the season and save the Rovers game have been steadily declining since the opening game of the season.

At 6180 on Saturday the crowd must have been knocking around 'members' only with only a few POTDs. Ever punter the club loses is another £20 or so that Brent has to 'lend' the club. But what is £20,000 per game subsidy(?) between friends.

I wonder what the break even crowd figure is this year and how attendence is performing against budget? One for the PASB I would think.

Lose against City and then Pompey and then we will be down to about 4500 if we are lucky. Can't help thinking these next two matches will determine our season one way or the other.

Yeah,I can see crowds dropping off should Argyle lose at chums and then at home to Pompey.

Will it turn Brent's head,probably not.

I'm starting to believe that the best thing that can happen for the Club is for the fans to stay away in their thousands. It would be very harmful in the short term but it may just burn Brents fingers enough to ensure the health of the Club?

As if you don't sound enough of a wanker Tis you have to use the "real fans" line. I was one of the real 2500 fans who turned up when we were shit under Dan the Man, I've had enough now and would rather spend my money traveling the world and pick a couple of home games a season. I have two mates who potd a lot but said after Accy that they have had enough, it's not just us moaners on here. The reason that we moan is because we do care, our support is way higher than it has been through history in the bottom league, that will change if the football doesn't get better, massive club or not.

I think we are down to a core of 6k, games like Pompey will attract a big crowd and of course the derbies. Argyle against Accy was always going to be seen as a crap fixture. Two poor teams playing on a wet afternoon in a league nobody wants to be in. I did'nt go - could see a few weeks ago it was always going to be a bad footballing experience.

Shitty are opening their new refreshment bar on Saturday as it's their cup final and birthday all rolled into one. It's doubling as a soup kitchen on non-matchdays. Tis was one of the first customers last night.

I went on Saturday and the attendance figure givern is wrong because the guy on the turnstile was not scanning tickets. So how can argyle give a correct number.The figure argyle give out is the number of tickets sold not the number of people that attend.
