[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Oh it sure is Frank, as you quite rightly say. Also illegal is someone on the inside for a major UK ISP, leaking an IP address personal details to some cnut on another football forum.

I think you may be wrong on this one mate. I have an order of popcorn ready. ATD may well get a mention but not in the way you think....... EDIT to add: I haven't spoke to GG for months and I have no idea what he is on about on this occasion. But I have a hunch. |

| Is it illegal to order a hacking?
What is obvioulsy not illegal is looking at public online accounts that aren't password protected but have material of a sensitive nature in them. That's just plain stupidity. |

| How about gaining access to somebody's Internet forum after they had paid hard earned cash for it and closing it? |

He's shut up. I expect there have been some interesting PM's between him and the culprit "Just checking your account security" |

| If it's not for financial gain, if it's not going to compromise sensitive information, if it's not going to cause an individual harm, it's highly unlikely that any legal action (other than civil action) would ever take place. |
