| Following advice from the met office myself and the family went over the whole house and outbuildings battening down hatches - I am never sure where these are located but I do make sure the recycling containers are in the shed- we have also stocked up on several hundred litres of bottled water and a few tons of tinned goods. We have made a shelter behind the settee and turned the electric off, does anybody know what time the storm will be here? It's quiet, too quiet. |

| Spent lunch time at the riser in Gunny, very nice, luckily we managed to avoid the fallen trees, floods that were no doubt hampering motorists all over the region. |

8.12?? Is that the most precise time ever for a tee off? |

8.12?? Is that the most precise time ever for a tee off? No. Tee times are 8 minutes apart. You don't play golf. Obviously. |

Boringdon mate. Off in a minute. Got caught in one or two 5 minute cloudbursts, and the wind really started to blow from about 11 o'clock, but that's pretty standard for Boringdon. Along with Staddon, Boringdon is probably the most exposed to the elements of all the reasonably local courses. Played well too. For a bloody change! |

| It's careless people like you Czarks that put your own lives, not to mention the lives of the emergency services at risk, by venturing forth in such hazardous conditions, thankfully, against the odds you have come through in one piece. |

| Have you ever ventured up into the Arctic Circle Seadog? Now when it blows up there you can call it a blow. Like a mirror some of the time but wait 5 minutes and it's like an Alton Towers super ride. The little fishing boats just do what little fishing boats do and carry on fishing like nothings happening. Respect to them for my Cod and chips. |
