| Just an idea. Apparently you can purchase a 'Tweet' that gives the comment a huge amount of advertising. It maybe a way to get the word out without involving the local and uselessly biased comic?
This guy done it to complain about British Airways http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-23943480

| That's a great idea. Maybe a tweet about Newell sending the white feather to a dying man, or one exposing Postey threatening women so not to read Pasoti or Vital, not that anyone reads vital.
Quite a powerful medium. |

| Tis easily done. You could target the tweet to hit certain demographics i.e. those living in Plymouth, those who support Argyle etc
Get those buckets out...I sense a donation drive! |

| It's a similar process to the one whereby if you stump up a few quid you can by virtual followers, utter blox.
Tw@ter, Facebook and all the others are the real evil in this world, Assad don't even rate on page one. |

Whats that about then ?? Not heard that before ? Nice fella called Phil Coleman who posted as Thai Green both here and Pasoti had terminal cancer which he faced bravely and with his sense of humour. I forget what it was he posted on Pasoti but Nool disagreed with him over it so sent him a pic of as white feather. Then he had the gall to post RIP in the tribute thread when Phil passed away. Scum |

Whats that about then ?? Not heard that before ? Ok I'll play along. Newell sent a picture of a white feather to a lovely guy called Phil or Green Thai who was unfortunately dying of cancer. The reason for this symbol of cowardice was that he named Chris Webb's son in a post he made on Pasoti about being angry with James Brent because we were bottom of the table and had just lost at home under Fletcher again. Because Newell has Connor Webb with him in the directors box while Daddy commentates or pretends to slum it with the working class in the Devonport End, Phil mentioned that Connor heard his shouts towards Brent and scowled. Being the fat cnut he is Newell decided that naming Connor Webb, who is usually pictured and named in Greensonscreen and mentioned by name by that other prick Sparksy in commentary and of course Connor being thrust into the spotlight and used as an emotional prop at the guildhall meeting, was enough to warrant calling a man battling cancer a coward. I e-mailed the fat tw@t about it and he said "The man needed telling". No remorse, no apology just another dig because that's the nature of this friend of James Brent, so I laid into him and told him what a disgusting lowlife piece of shit he was. Newell being the absolute fanny that he is decided to get his son to issue several threats of violence towards me then by e-mail which scared me so much that I went into hiding and became the mild-mannered person I am today who shys away from confrontation and controversy, meanwhile Newell and son continued their behaviour and made threats of violence towards another ATD poster in the corporate lounge at Home Park which was witnessed by the whole room and reported to the club. The club were horrified at the way the Clampetts had behaved and told them not to be naughty boys again please. |

RIP I have been on holiday and may have missed you take the happy clappy supporters bus to Damascus but don't you count Newell as a friend...? Bearing in mind this is not the most welcoming website for you why would you enter this debate knowing what he did and his lack of remorse for it. |

I wasn't part of it and didn't know it happened until after the event and told Ian how I felt about it. It was wrong. I also told Phil what I thought of it. I consider Ian a friend yeah but I'm not beholden to him. I try to stay out of the bitchy stuff these days. I was merely lamenting the passing of an aquaintance rather than entering the debate... |

So, after that despicable act against Phil - how could you ever, ever see that cnut as any sort of acquaintance or friend? Does that singular act of cuntishness tell you what sort of schmuck Newell is? I liken Newell to Asad of Syria, A class 1, fur-lined, ocean going cnut. |

| I miss Phil too. Loved his posts and the way he conducted himself despite going through hell and obviously being in immense pain.
We chatted loads and I don't think I was as angry and sweary when he was online.
It really hurt him when Newell sent him that message and even afterwards Newell didn't have a hint of remorse about it.
When he didn't like having it pointed out what a cnut he had been he got his midget prick of a son to make the threats for him. What a despicable family they are. Brent must love their company!
I apologised to greensleeves for having a pop at him the other day because I just can't believe he counts Newell as a friend after all the stuff Newell told me about Al, and Leigh seems a decent guy most of the time but also includes Newell and Hooper as his friends. I just don't get it at all. Anyone who is acts in the way Newell does constantly and how Hooper has behaved, how the feck can you put that to the back of your mind and still want to talk to scumbags like that?

Mate, I've seen some awful things in my time, worse than anything that is said on here, I don't take side, I've defended you to people who haven't seen the softer side of you which I have a few times in pm's. All I want is to get on with people, I'm a laid back guy, I don't socialise with Ian, I don't meet with him and we rarely exchange texts but I got to know him during the "troubles" and I genuinely like him, he's stupid to himself sometimes which can't help to 'outsiders'. Tony is merely someone who I say hello too and get in ok with, we've had spats the same as anyone else. Jock, I can't help but find you likeable too, most of the people on here have likeable traits, at least behind the keyboard they do. Life is too short and too fraught with stress and hassle to get caught up in shit that has no impact on me (harsh but true). I even like that bloke hairy and he's feckin mental. |

Sometimes, not all of the time - he speaks as I see things. But other times he comes across as a condescending, slack-jawed, frog-eyed, 6 toed, dungaree wearing red neck mother f*cka. But - this is ATD, so all's fair in love and war, I suppose. (Ain't that the beauty of this site?) |
