- Former Plymouth Argyle star fined after BMW speeding probe

FORMER Plymouth Argyle star Onismor Bhasera has been fined after his car was caught breaking the speed limit.
The left-back, who was player of the season last year, was convicted of failing to say who was behind the wheel of his BMW.
Bhasera, who left the club in the summer, is the latest Argyle player to fall foul of motoring laws.
Former manager Carl Fletcher and teenage defender Curtis Nelson have both been fined for speeding.
Zimbabwe international Bhasera, thought to be in South Africa, was not at Plymouth Magistrates' Court for the hearing.
But district judge Jeff Brailsford found the case proved in his absence.
He was convicted of failing to identify the driver of his BMW when he was being investigated for breaking the 30mph speed limit in Alma Road close to Home Park on February 12.
Bhasera was fined £600 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £60 victim surcharge.
The player, whose address was given as the luxury Cargo development in Millbay, was also handed six penalty points.
He has just completed a move to South African Premier Soccer League club Bidvest Wits.
Bhasera had been training with Wits since the start of August and was available as a free agent after rejecting the offer of a new contract from Argyle this summer.
He had also been on a short trial with Argyle's Westcountry rivals Yeovil Town before signing the one-year deal with Wits.
Argyle manager Carl Fletcher and player Curtis Nelson were both fined for speeding last year – Fletcher in the same street as Bhasera's car was caught in. LINK |
